“ Trinity Alps Wilderness through the Lens of Children “

Give your child a new outlook on life—through the Lens of a Camera.

kidsnakeYour Trinity Arts Council presents a 2 day workshop for children ages 7-16 at No Charge for the first 20 participants who sign-up.   This program will include artistic creativity, appreciation and respect for our mountains & forests, recreation, and fun.

DAY 1: Participants will meet at the East Weaver Campgrounds in Weaverville,  where  we will provide a free camera to each child and teach them the Principles of Taking a Good Photo.  We will present a short talk about Wilderness Rules, then lead the children into the trail system for an afternoon of photography.

WHEN:  June 28, Saturday,  1:00 pm

WHERE:  East Weaver Campground

WHO:  Children ages 7—16, with signed parent’s permission

COST:  $ 0— First 20 to sign-up

kidbirdDAY 2: We will meet at Barking Mad Studio, 555D Main Street (between Francesca’s Salon and Closet 2 Closet) where our young photographers will receive  their photos.  Each child will share their photos, and choose their favorite image to crop and frame for  exhibit at the August 2 Art Cruise at the Trinity County Chamber of Commerce.

WHERE:  Barking Mad Studio, Weaverville
